Tuchel was left angry at the decision not to award Bayern Munich a penalty

Bayern Munich coach complained that a penalty for handball by Gabriel Magalhaes was not called in the second half of their Champions League quarter-final first leg draw against Arsenal.

The incident occurred in the 67th minute of the match between Arsenal and Bayern Munich, when David Raya took a goal kick and Gabriel took the ball with his hand to put it in and kick it out without realising that the ball was already in play. The German players protested the action, claiming it was a penalty, but Swedish referee Nyberg told the German side's players it was a kid mistake and that he could not call that in a Champions League quarter-final.

"I think the referee didn't have the courage to call a clear penalty in a crazy and weird situation. What makes us really angry is the explanation on the pitch," he said.
