The Ukrainian defender has signed until June 2030 and will now have to establish himself in a partnership with Pacho and Marquinhos that has worked.
This is the end of a long-running transfer saga. An agreement had been announced in June between the defender and Paris Saint-Germain, but it took until mid-August for the two clubs to reach a definitive agreement. The player has signed a five-year contract that ties him to his new home until June 2030.
Paris has signed a major reinforcement. Trained at Dynamo Kyiv, the Ukrainian defender, despite his young age, has five seasons of professional experience since his debut at his formative club. From 2020 to 2023, Zabarnyi played 84 matches for Dynamo before venturing into the Premier League. At Bournemouth, he formed a solid partnership with Dean Huijsen, playing 81 games in three seasons with the 'Cherries'. In addition, he has 47 international caps.
