Villarreal are keen on signing Tottenham loanee Bryan Gil

With or without European football, Spurs will have to make money by cutting players off their roster. This comprises players that are presently on loan and underperforming commodities. Bryan Gil is one player who is eager to leave White Hart Lane for good. Last summer, Bryan Gil departed Tottenham to sign a season-long loan with Girona, a La Liga team. The winger's new Spurs deal has a €15 million release clause, which Girona has the right to activate by June 30 if they so choose.

Villarreal has reportedly joined the competition to sign Gil, according to a report from the Spanish news source El Desmarque. The Spanish winger is one of their top goals in order to bolster the team for the 2025–2026 campaign. Gil has no future at Tottenham, but with Girona in no financial position to activate his €15m buy option, he is set to return to N17 this summer.
