Wales produced one of their greatest performances to beat Croatia

In front of an enthusiastic crowd at Cardiff City Stadium, Wales put on a dominant display against the World Cup semi-finalists. Harry Wilson marked his 50th appearance for his country with two outstanding goals in the second half. Wilson's first goal was a beautifully executed lofted finish, set up by a precise through ball from David Brooks. His second goal, a glancing header from a cross by Daniel James, sent the crowd into a frenzy.

The celebration turned to tension when Mario Pasalic scored for Croatia with 15 minutes remaining, leading to a period of pressure from the previously sluggish visitors. Despite the fine saves by Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic that prevented Wales from increasing their lead, the Welsh team dug deep and managed to secure the victory. Wales' path to next summer's tournament in Germany now hinges on their final two qualifiers in November against Armenia and Turkey.
