Wolves are prolific when it comes to signing South American talent

One player who was formerly on Wolves' radar is now out of their grasp, despite the fact that Wolves are prolific in their acquisition of South American talent.

Jhon Arias, Wolves' recent acquisition, joined Andre from Fluminense in 2024 as the most recent South American to move to Molineux. Joao Gomes, a Brazilian midfielder who was acquired from Flamengo at the beginning of 2023, and Pedro Lima, a right-back who was acquired from Sport Recife for £8.4 million last summer, have both welcomed Arias. The 27-year-old is also acquainted with Yerson Mosquera, a Colombian teammate and defensive star who just made a full recovery from an ACL injury. When scouring the transfer market, the Old Gold are always on the hunt for South American youngsters, though their hopes of signing one particular player have been dashed.
