Wolves lose not just the match to Liverpool but Rui Patricio to injury as well

Liverpool’s Diogo Jota scored the only goal of the match upon his return to Molineux to get a hold of dirty three points as they climb to the sixth position on the table while Wolves lose Rui Patricio to a head injury. This was the first goal Jota scored for Liverpool after his return to the team after an absence due to a serious injury, Liverpool still keep their hope for a top-four finish alive in the Premier League after making a comeback.

While hosts had a disappointing night as they lose out on three points as well as their goalkeeper after he banged into Connor Coady during the match. Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo later shared that the player is doing well and is conscious. Wolves season this season has already received a setback when their best striker Raul Jimenez fractured his skull in November and put an end to this year’s season. Liverpool is now five points away from Chelsea.
