Xavi Hernandez decided to stay at Barcelona until 2025

Barcelona president Joan Laporta and first-team coach Xavi Hernandez gave a press conference to explain the future of the club and the coach's continuity until 2025.
The decision was taken during a meeting that took place on Wednesday evening at the home of the president, which was attended by the two, as well as all the members of the sports commission.
During the meeting, both parties decided that Xavi Hernandez would honour his contract, despite the fact that last January he had announced his departure from the club at the end of the current season.
At the hearing, both parties explained their point of view on the change of plans.
