ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK CROWNED LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Accra Hearts of Oak have been confirmed as Ghana Premier League champions after receiving the trophy at the Coronation which was held at the WAFA park in Sogakope.

The Phobians finished top of league log after amassing 61 points at the end of the season.

The General Secretary of the GFA Prosper Harrison Addo, Executive Council member George Amoako joined member of the Premier League Management Committee to hand over the League trophy to Hearts of Oak on Saturday despite their 1-0 loss to WAFA.

WAFA were also handed bronze medals on the day after finishing third on the league log with 56 points.

 Kumasi Asante Kotoko will also receive silver medals on Sunday after their final game against Elmina Sharks as runners-up for the season.

The final league log for the 2020-21 season will be confirmed on Sunday after the last round of matches.
