Moroccan international Ashraf Bencharki played a crucial role in helping his team, Al Ahly of Egypt, win the Egyptian Super Cup title in football, after he opened the scoring in the final match against Zamalek, which took place at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.
Bencharki 's goal came in the final minutes of the first half, giving his team the advantage before the break. Marwan Attia added the second goal in the 72nd minute with a precise cross from Tamer Mohamed Tamer, confirming the dominance of the "Red Giant" and securing the title in their favor.
With this victory, Al Ahly has claimed its fifth consecutive title and sixteenth overall in the Egyptian Super Cup, further enhancing its record for the most wins in the tournament.
The red team continued its historic dominance over its traditional rival, Zamalek, in the competition.
