Arsenal grabbed a late goal to salvage a draw

Fulham had almost sealed a win in the Premier League matchup that would have given them some hope for survival but Eddie Nketiah scored an astonishing stoppage-time goal that salvaged a draw for Arsenal and left Fulham disappointed. Josh Maja had scored in the second half giving the team a chance to claim the much-needed three points to help them in their battle for relegation.

Maja converted a penalty in the 59th minute after Mario Lemina was fouled by Arsenal’s Gabriel, their only shot on the target set them on course to a win for the first time in 29 outings against Gunners but Fulham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola could not stop Nketiah’s shot. Fulham is now six points to safety and has played two more games than their direct rivals.
