The Gunners winger had to be replaced early in the second half at Wembley Stadium as the Three Lions toiled their way to a 2-1 loss. Saka had to be escorted from the pitch by medical staff as Chelsea forward Noni Madueke came on.
Saka appeared to be struggling with a hamstring complaint, which will concern those at Emirates Stadium. He first pulled up when failing to prevent Greece from opening the scoring in the 49th minute – with his evening brought to a close shortly afterwards.
Interim England boss Lee Carsley told reporters afterwards when asked for an update on Saka’s condition – with a full diagnosis yet to be made: "He’s being assessed. Obviously in the build up to the first goal, you could see he felt something in his leg."
No risks will be taken on Saka’s fitness when England face Finland in their next fixture on Sunday.
