An article from the Spanish publication Fichajes claims that Pau Cubarsi is becoming more well-known. The Barcelona wonderkid is a target for Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain to sign during the summer transfer season. The 17-year-old's contract with the defending La Liga winners has a €10 million release clause. Under Xavi Hernandez's guidance, Pau Cubarsi is the most recent adolescent wonder to make a name for himself in the Barcelona first squad. Due to the Catalan club's financial difficulties, Xavi had to be astute in selecting his team, looking to the legendary La Masia for the best young players in the academy.
Thankfully for Xavi, a number of highly regarded prodigies have surfaced, including Alejandro Balde, Gavi, and Lamine Yamal. At this point, Pau Cubarsi has presented a possible long-term central defensive option. Additionally, Barcelona's first squad has seen nine outings from the 17-year-old wonderkid this season.
