City desperately needs Foden and Savinho for derby showdown

The wait may finally be over for Manchester City fans eager to see Phil Foden back in action. Playing just 15 minutes this season - in a disappointing defeat to Tottenham - the young star has been hamstrung by injury since the start of the campaign. Now, with the Manchester derby looming on the horizon, Foden's return could be the spark City desperately need. The lad, already one of the Premier League's brightest talents, is reaching his prime and fans at the Etihad will be delighted to see him work his magic again.

Meanwhile, Savinho's absence from City's first three games through injury has left a huge hole in their attack. Expectations for Savinho to deliver on last season's promise were high.

Pep Guardiola is likely to be feeling the pressure as his attacking options are stretched more than ever ahead of the Manchester derby.
