Europa League: Napoli could change for Arsenal trip

Insigne and Faouzi Ghoulam made their comebacks from injury in the 1-1 draw with Genoa on Sunday evening, but Amadou Diawara and Raul Albiol are still out of action.

Carlo Ancelotti has often used a disguised three-man defence in Europe this season, as Nikola Maksimovic was only in theory a full-back, in reality cutting inside while his opposite number Mario Rui pushed up, covered on the right by the non-stop work of Jose Callejòn.

However, Sky Sport are confident that won’t be the case with Arsenal, sticking to a more traditional 4-4-2 shape, mainly because Maksimovic and Kalidou Koulibaly are the only fully-fit centre-backs.

The other change could be upfront, where Arkadiusz Milik risks being dropped in favour of Mertens and Insigne together.

This would enable Napoli to focus not on crosses into the box, but on making the most of the distinct lack of pace in the Arsenal defence.
