

The 30-year-old German player left Liverpool last summer after his contract expired after coming to Liverpool in 2016 for an estimated £4.75 million from Mainz. The German first signed a short-term contract with Newcastle in September of last year, but he later extended it through the end of the season. With a new contract confirmed for the player on Sunday alongside Paul Dummett, he is now certain to stay in Tyneside.
Paul Dummett and Loris Karius of Newcastle United have agreed to extend their contracts at St. James' Park through the summer of 2024, the club announced.In addition to announcing that the two had received contract offers in June, the club also announced that Matt Ritchie and Mark Gillespie will stay in Tyneside till the conclusion of the 2023–24 season.
