Inter Milan and AC Milan are closely monitoring the situation of Lazio defender Mario Gila, whose contract talks with the club have stalled. The Spaniard, who joined from Real Madrid in 2022 on a five-year deal, is under contract until June 2027. However, Lazio’s attempts to extend his deal have made little progress amid financial difficulties.
Gila has become an important player for the Biancocelesti, but if no agreement is reached soon, the club may look to sell him next summer to avoid losing him for free later. According to Tuttosport, both Milan clubs are interested in signing the 24-year-old. Inter see him as a potential defensive addition, while AC Milan’s interest has grown, particularly with former Lazio sporting director Igli Tare now part of their setup.
