'It's not going to happen' - Gavi crushes talk of PSG transfer

The 20-year-old midfielder quashed the rumours about a move to PSG and said he remains fully committed to succeeding at Barca under new coach Hansi Flick.

Gavi was sidelined with a serious knee injury in the 2023-24 campaign, which saw him miss the three months of the latest campaign. Despite regaining full fitness, the midfielder failed to regain a regular place in the starting XI in Flick's debut season. Since his return from injury, he has played in 42 matches but started just 14 in La Liga and three in the Champions League. It had been reported that PSG manager Luis Enrique is keen on bringing Gavi to the French capital. However, he says there is no chance of that happening.

Gavi told Mundo Deportivo: "People believe what they read in any media. I understand people who might believe it. But it's not going to happen."
