Manchester City have finalised the signing of Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan in a deal worth €57 million as a fixed fee. Reijnders has become the team's latest summer signing ahead of the Club World Cup. The agreement between the two clubs includes performance-related add-ons which could see the total package rise to €65 million with achievable bonuses, and potentially reach €70 million if more demanding conditions are met.
Reijnders leaves Milan after two seasons in Serie A, where he established himself as one of the most consistent and technically gifted midfielders in Italian football.
His composure on the ball, range of passing and tactical intelligence caught the eye of several top clubs, but it was the Sky Blues who moved decisively to secure his services. Not only that, but he also joins Ait-Nouri and Cherki in the City squad for the upcoming Club World Cup.
