Man United remain interested in Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite

The 22-year-old was one of the Manchester club's top centre-back targets in the summer, but they were unable to reach an agreement with the Toffees, and their second approach of £45 million plus £5 million in add-ons was turned down. Branthwaite is reportedly valued at almost £70 million by Everton, but the Red Devils were hesitant to spend that much during the most recent transfer window.

Instead, Man United would sign Leny Yoro from Lille for €70 million. However, according to Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, the Premier League powerhouses are still interested in Everton's Branthwaite, and a move is possible in January or next summer, though there is some uncertainty about a mid-season switch. The Toffees may be more amenable to a deal during the 2025 windows as the 22-year-old's contract at Goodison Park expires in 2027.
