Adding to the countless number of former Manchester United players who are roughly criticizing Louis Van Gaal's methods and playing style, we get legendary goalie Peter Schmeichel. Father of brand new champion Kasper, has spoken in public to add some rough words of honesty, saying that Manchester United's style of playing is completely boring and is being taken on the wrong path by manager Louis Van Gaal.
United's tradition is to be a club where dominant offensive football takes a hold of the atmosphere and pleases their fans on every single demand, but this year it has been different. Van Gaal has played defensively throughout the past decade at least, he has gotten married with this style and won't succumb to the constant criticism from anybody, even if they are club legends. Louis already made Paul Scholes responsible if he gets sacked before next summer begins.
Peter told Sky Sports that: "Manchester United - a club that I love and have followed since I was a kid - have bored me to death this season. We are one of those clubs that has been dragged in completely the wrong direction. We never used to play football the way we play now. We never played for 1-0 and then defend. We always went for the second goal and the third. All the hard work that Sir Alex put in to recover what was there from Sir Matt Busby has been undone in a very short period of time. I, as a fan, want to be winning but to entertain equally as much too. I want exciting players."
Schmeichel is under the impression that Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is on Manchester United's radar, this is something that would change things up for the better inside the Red Devils: "I read about Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the newspapers. I would love for him to come to Manchester United, I've said this for a long time. He was born to play for Manchester United. He's like an Eric Cantona, who can inspire all the guys in the dressing room but also the supporters. That's what it's all about. It's not about having a Sunday nap at Old Trafford."
