Arsenal edged Fulham 1-0 in a hard-fought contest decided by yet another set-piece. Leandro Trossard bundled home at the back post after Gabriel flicked on Bukayo Saka’s corner early in the second half. It marked Arsenal’s 50th goal from a corner since the start of the 2022/23 season—by far the most in the Premier League, with no other team managing more than 34. Fulham, who had taken four points from their last two home meetings with Arsenal, defended resolutely but struggled to threaten, failing to register a shot on target. Harry Wilson wasted their best openings.
At the other end, Viktor Gyokeres had Arsenal’s clearest chances but was twice denied by former Gunners keeper Bernd Leno and sent another effort over the bar. Arsenal’s efficiency from dead balls proved the difference in a cagey affair.
