Moreno is convinced on Europa League success

This is a big statement for a club with so many problems in their domestic tournament right now, but the fighting spirit manager Jurgen Klopp has filled his players with may be the reason. Spaniard full-back Alberto Moreno said that he knows Liverpool can defeat German side Borussia Dortmund, regardless of how strong the rival looks on paper. Next Thursday's first leg will be very exciting for both clubs.

Talking to the Reds' Web site, Moreno knows they have a really good chance of succeeding against Dortmund as long as all the players show confidence and order during the games. He didn't seem as optimistic in the Premier League, where he thinks Liverpool has a slimmer chance of finishing with a top four spot with the tough competition they have on that zone of the table.

"We need to keep working to reach our goals. We are closer to winning the Europa League title, although we still have a few games left. However, we still believe that we can win it. In the last few games we have conceded fewer goals and I think this is the result of the team working together and being aggressive defensively. We also have very strong strikers, so I think we are in a good moment. The Premier League is more difficult but we are working really hard to get a higher position in the table."
