Nottingham Forest enjoy their first success in Premier League

Nottingham Forest enjoyed their most memorable home game in the Premier League after a very long time and overpowered West Ham 1-0 on Sunday to make it a successful day out.

The European bosses’ 14 new signings before the season kicked off prepared the team for the first-class fight and their home debut saw legends as Taiwo Awoniyi scores the only goal of the day while Dean Henderson saved Declan Rice's penalty to keep their record clean at the end. Forest were lucky to walk away with three points and came close to a draw many times when Hammers saw their first-half effort being called offside and hit the crossbar twice with Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma. Another phenomenal Henderson save from Tomas Soucek kept the spirits up for Forest as they began the season with progressive losses.
