Several reports claim that Roma has contacted Atletico Madrid over former Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu. It will be difficult to persuade Diego Simeone's team to let the Turkish international to move on loan, though. Soyuncu left Leicester at the conclusion of his contract after the Foxes were relegated from the Premier League at the end of 2022–2023 and signed for Atleti on a free transfer in the summer.
He hasn't been a consistent first team starter at Metropolitano Stadium since then. His total La Liga appearances are really just six, with two coming in the Champions League and one in the Copa Del Rey. Even if Soyuncu is surplus to needs at Atletico, it might not be too easy for him to go to Roma on loan because Fulham and other Premier League teams have allegedly indicated interest in signing him long-term.
