Tottenham have entered Premier League's history books with unwanted record

Tottenham's 4-2 defeat by Arsenal did not only see their rivals leapfrog them in the Premier League table, but also saw them enter the league's history books with an unwanted record.

Spurs have now conceded the most goals in Premier League history after shipping four on Sunday afternoon.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace and goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira in the second half saw Tottenham move above Everton to become the club that has let in the most goals in the top flight with 1,282 as reported by Daily Mail.

Although Mauricio Pochettino's side, who slipped down to fifth in the table, are just one goal ahead of the Toffees.

Both Tottenham and Everton have been ever-presents in the Premier League since its inception in 1992.
