Liverpool has managed to close a deal with Fabio Carvalho who is their first signing of the summer for the price of £7.7m. It was seen that Fabio’s contract would come to end in a couple of months, giving him the liability of negotiating with other clubs outside of England. However, domestic teams, are required to either pay a tribunal fee or agree on a transfer with Fulham, which Liverpool easily managed to do.
The 19-year-old Fulham star, Carvalho will join hands with the Reds on July 1 for an initial fee of £5 million and a further £2.7 million in add-ons. However, Fabio has already consented to the personal terms and has also completed his medical before the switch. This young lad made his team debut in May 2021 and has experienced a quick rise in West London.
