Under Luis Enrique's direction, Paris Saint-Germain has struggled offensively this season, especially in the UEFA Champions League, where goals have been hard to come by. Luis Díaz, a talented winger for Liverpool, was linked to PSG earlier in 2024, but the rumours never took off. The team may now rekindle their interest in the Colombian star given their current offensive problems.
According to reports, Díaz is negotiating an extension for his Liverpool contract, which expires in 2027. Negotiations seem to have stopped, though, and if an agreement cannot be reached, a transfer may be considered. Disagreements about the contract might lead Díaz to look for other options, according to a recent report from Colombian broadcaster Antena2. Despite reports of interest from PSG, the winger is still seen to be part of Barcelona's long-term plans.
