Mohammed Kudus set to miss six games after receiving a red card

Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus was sent off during West Ham United's 4-1 loss against Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League, marking it the first time in his career he has been sent off. Kudus' yellow card was rescinded and the Black Stars captain received a straight red card after a VAR review revealed that he had punched Spurs teammates Pape Sarr and Micky Van De Ven in the face during an argument.

Kudus will miss matches against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and Everton due to his straight sending off. Due to retroactive action, Kudus is expected to miss six games rather than three, therefore he could miss more games before his comeback in December. Kudus is eligible to participate in West Ham's match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 9 due to a six-game ban.
