Newcastle United are still eyeing Sven Botman from Lille

Since the January transfer window plans failed for Newcastle, they have decided to grab an opportunity during the upcoming summer transfer sale to rope in Ligue 1 player Sven Botman. The Magpies have a keen interest in Botman who has been topping their transfer target list. About the news revolving around Botman's move, O’Rourke said that back in January, Newcastle tried very hard to grab the player but the deal didn't go through.
Newcastle is most likely to face competition from Milan who is also trying their luck for the Dutchman. Francesco Miniero, the Director of Botman's agency in Italy said that Sven is a golden boy and there is an evident difference between him and his peers.
