Olympique Lyonnais 3-1 win over FC Nantes

Matthis Abline's goal in the 16th minute gave Les Canaris the lead, while Nantes had six shots in the opening forty-five minutes. Although they managed six shots in the first half, Lyon's assault was unable to get the equalizing goal before halftime.

In the second half, both sides carried on with their potent offensive. In an effort to tie the score, OL took 13 shots in all, and Alexandre Lacazette's strike in the 75th minute did just that. In an attempt to score their second goal of the game, Nantes replied with eight total shots. Pierre Sage and his squad managed to find their second goal despite Nantes' best attempts to grab the lead. After coming off the bench in the second half, Malick Fofana scored in the 77th minute to give Lyon a 2-1 lead. Gift Orban's goal gave OL a 3-1 lead in stoppage time, and the team added an extra goal to seal the win.
