Zirkzee linked with Serie A return as Juve, Milan and Como circle

Joshua Zirkzee’s Manchester United career has struggled to take off since his £37 million move from Bologna in 2024. The Dutch striker has found life tough at Old Trafford, first under Erik ten Hag and now Ruben Amorim. Over the past year, the 24-year-old has managed just seven goals and three assists in 53 appearances, and this season he has played only 82 minutes.

A return to Serie A now looks possible, with several clubs keen. ESPN reports that Juventus, AC Milan, and Como are all exploring moves for Zirkzee, with Como particularly interested in a January loan. Despite Amorim’s belief that the forward still has potential to develop in his system, interest from Italy remains strong. Given his solid reputation in Serie A from his Bologna days, a move back could revive his career just as it did for Rasmus Hojlund.
