After an exciting 2-2 draw in north London, Arsenal and Bayern will begin the second leg of their quarterfinal match in the UEFA Champions League on equal footing. After 12 minutes, Saka narrowed the score with a shot by Gabriel Martinelli, which may have given Bayern some indication of Arsenal's intentions. The England winger spun and curled in a wonderful first-time goal after letting Ben White's clever pass inside get by him.
After Manuel Neuer prevented White from doubling the hosts' lead, Bayern pulled even two minutes later. Former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry, on the slide, produced the perfectly weighted through pass, and David Raya's legs allowed him to score. Just after the half-hour mark, Harry Kane's penalty sent Raya the wrong way as the visitors completed their comeback. Even if the England captain made the save right there, Leroy Sané's incredible run that set up the kick's reward deserves recognition in and of itself.
