Barcelona consider cutting Marcus Rashford loan short after underwhelming star
Marcus Rashford’s career has taken a dramatic turn over the past 18 months. Once Manchester United’s golden boy and academy jewel, the forward is now struggling to find stability. After enjoying a record-breaking season under Erik ten Hag, Rashford’s form dipped sharply, and he eventually fell out of favour under Ruben Amorim. United shipped him out on loan to Aston Villa in January, where he showed flashes of his quality but never fully rediscovered his spark. Despite that, Barcelona took a gamble in the summer, bringing him in on loan with a £30m option to buy. The move was seen as a cost-effective way to boost their attack, but things haven’t gone to plan. Rashford has failed to make the expected impact at Camp Nou, and reports suggest his loan could be cut short before the season ends.
