Nil Sola, a journalist from 'SER Girona', reports that the goalkeeper has now reached an agreement with Girona FC.
While final details remain to be ironed out, Ter Stegen will complete the season at Girona FC. Michel's side sought a dependable goalkeeper following Livakovic's departure, and they have found one in the German, who had already anticipated limited involvement after Joan Garcia's arrival, a situation confirmed throughout the current campaign.
Crucially, the goalkeeper forgave part of his salary to facilitate the deal with Girona FC, who actively pursued the signing and leveraged their strong relationship with FC Barcelona. Although these remaining loose ends will delay the official announcement until next week.
