The two clubs and his agent have apparently reached a deal for Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho to join Juventus. Since Chelsea decided not to make his signing a long-term one, Sancho has been looking for a new team. He played for the Blues for the whole 2024–2025 season, although he had a mixed tenure and was sent back to United by Chelsea after he refused to accept a pay cut to meet their wage structure.
For failing to fulfil their commitment to purchase Sancho on a permanent basis, Enzo Maresca's team was fined £5 million. Sancho has since been linked to several clubs including Napoli, West Ham, Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Aston Villa and the Saudi Pro League, but over the past few weeks, Juventus appear to have been making the strongest advances to secure his signature.
