Jules Koundé vows loyalty to Barcelona

Despite Arsenal's Mikel Arteta demonstrating a strong interest in acquiring his services for the upcoming season, the French defender has communicated a clear and unwavering stance: he has no intention of leaving the blue and garnet club.

Arteta envisions Koundé as an ideal addition to his defensive line. Capable of operating both as a center-back and a right-back, Koundé's versatility and tactical acumen make him an attractive prospect for any elite team, especially for one like the Gunners, who are building an ambitious project. Despite this interest, the player has firmly conveyed his decision to both the London club and Barcelona: he wishes to remain.

After a rather inconsistent first season under Xavi Hernández, where he oscillated between center-back and full-back roles, Koundé seems to have found his rightful place in Flick's setup.
