Man City thrashes Crystal Palace 4-2

City defeated Crystal Palace 4-2 in spite of a surprise goal by Jean-Philippe Mateta at Selhurst Park in the third minute that stunned the City supporters. A misdirected pass into the middle in the third minute gave Crystal Palace the chance, and Adam Wharton helped Mateta score his fifth goal of the season with a tap-in. However, Joel Ward's goal that gave City the lead in the 47th minute. De Bruyne first assisted Haaland in a straightforward finish in the 66th minute, and four minutes later, Rodri found De Bruyne, who promptly smashed a pass from Jack Grealish into the net to complete his century of goals for City.

In the 86th minute, Edouard gave his team a consoling goal, and City won all three points just one less than Arsenal's 71. They've won 21 games, tied seven, and dropped three. With seven victories, nine draws, and fifteen defeats, Crystal, on the other side, is in 14th position.
