Atletico Madrid's midfield planning has been turned upside down in a matter of hours. After the national press suggested that Enrique Cerezo's board had tied up Javi Guerra, from Valencia, to cover their backs while waiting for Conor Gallagher to accept their offer or not, press confirmed that he has. Soon, the English midfielder will leave Chelsea for 40 million euros.
Press even detailed who negotiated the deal. They are Ali Barat of 'Epic Sports' and Paul Nicholls of 'Elite Management Agency'. Nicholls is in charge of a wide range of football players, including Chelsea's still midfielder, and has experience in interesting destinations such as David Beckham's academy for promising young players, where he is a recognised figure in Great Britain.
This will be the third 'Colchonero' signing of the summer after Robin Le Normand -Real Sociedad, 34.5 million euros- and Alexander Sorloth -Villarreal, 32 million euros-.
