Coleman can't get enough of Bale

Aparte from the obvious choices of Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, there is little doubt in everybody's mind that Gareth Bale is one of the best players in the world just behind those two. He had already proved to be the absolute leader during the Euros this summer, but Bale still is looking for more success and maybe a bigger chance at becoming a champion in the near future with Wales.

Manager Coleman said this about Bale after the match: “We needed to break that stranglehold when it was 0-0 and we stayed patient. The lads stuck to the game-plan and it was a world-class pass from Bale for the first. Two goals for Gareth tonight is a great start for him. In a second he can change your night. Sometimes he does some things you know are world-class.

“He will break the record and if you look at his record in the last couple of years there is every chance he will do it in this campaign. Without the ball he knows where he needs to be, there is a job to be done and he has instructions. With it, it is wherever he sees space, it is up to him and it is game on.”
