Coleman is excited for Bale's progression

As many are expecting from this amazing player, Gareth Bale is growing up to become the world's best player without question. Cristiano Ronaldo has been neck to neck with Leo Messi, both fighting to be the best player in the world every single year for the last 8 seasons. Five Ballon d'Or awards have gone to Messi and three for the Portuguese, but we are slowly entering a new era in which other players have to take that lead.

One of these players is Gareth Bale who is Ronaldo's teammate at Real Madrid and has done nothing but improve since he arrived with Los Blancos. His manager in Wales, Chris Coleman, is convinced Bale is a far batter player right now than he was back in 2013 when he left Tottenham. This is mainly because of the fierce competition he has at Real Madrid on a day-to-day basis.

Talking to the press, Coleman said: "Gareth scored inside 75 seconds of Real's first game of the season, but I never get surprised by him. I know he's capable of almost anything and I think Madrid are very excited about the future with 'Baleo'. They recognize that they've got someone who's going to be there for a while and someone who is capable of winning everything. He's getting better and better still. Along with that incredible ability, he's got that first-class mentality as well. It's a winning formula for Real Madrid and for Wales and I think he will have another good season."

Ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Moldova this Sunday, Coleman also spoke about the players who will replace injured Jon Williams and Aaron Ramsey. These players are Emyr Huws and Tom Lawrence: "They are two good young players and I do expect them to step up and make an impact. Emyr was disappointed not to make the [Euro 2016] squad and it was really close for him. Tom has had a little taste of campaign football. It's difficult when you're young and you're not playing for your club. We're mindful of that, but they can do well for us."
