Brazil manager Dunga, is currently suffering from the same problems he suffered during his first term with the national team. He is having trouble finding a competitive offensive side, only this time is a little bit more justified because he doesn't have a lot of players available who can make a difference for the team. During the last World Cup he managed back in 2010, he had players like Kaka or Ronaldinho but none of them were effective.
Today with the already known absence of Neymar, there is also the exclusion of Douglas Costa who is injured, Kaka who also got injured and Rafinha who suffered the same fate before the cup ended. But those sound like excuses to the manager, he knows that he needs to take the best out of the team he has, he's already won a Copa America with an apparently defensive side in the past back in 2007. The next challenge to pass will be Haiti at Camping World Stadium in Orlando this Wednesday.
Brazilian centre back Marquinhos who will likely start the game, told reporters ahead of the game, that there were positive thing to take from the goalless draw against Ecuador: "There were many good things that came from the game versus Ecuador. We implemented a lot of the tactics there were given to us by [head coach] Dunga. We need to have our feet on the ground against Haiti,' explained the defender.
"We need to respect our opponent and know that nothing is given to us just because we are the Selecao. We need to perform and we need to earn all the points we get. There are no such things as an easy game in the Copa America. We are focused on getting a positive result versus a Haiti team that played very well versus Peru."
Possible lineups:
