The Mexican National team led by Colombian manager Juan Carlos Osorio, is set to face Chile for the second time in the last month. The last time they met on June 1st, Mexico played a decent match and defeated the current Copa America champions with a clear advantage. However, this time around things could go on a very different path. The Chile National team got a brand new chance of defending their title, after the rough start they had on Group D.
It doesn't matter if Mexico are in their best form, to Chile midfielder Jose Pedro Fuenzalida Chile has the edge on this game: "When you make a mistake, Mexico lets you know, you are punished immediately. We must be very focused in the game, and assume that they will try to cut our work in midfield. But I think we are better than them."
For Mexico, this is a perfect test that will have manager Osorio using his most competitive side possible. Javier Hernandez will be the main striker, with Jesus Manuel Corona as their most dangerous offensive player. The goal Tecatito scored against Venezuela, was the best proof that he is currently on the best form of his life and has everything to become one of this tournament's best players. It's now or never for Mexico, they just have to defeat the current champions.
Possible lineups:
Mexico starting lineup (4-1-4-1 formation): Corona; Aguilar, Reyes, Moreno, Layun; Marquez; Lozano, Herrera, Guardado, Chicharito; Corona.
Chile starting lineup (4-3-3 formation): Bravo; Isla, Medel, Jara, Beausejour; Vidal, Diaz, Aranguiz; Fuenzalida, Vargas, Sanchez.
