Dunga hails hat-trick hero Coutinho

Although winning 7-1 against Haiti will not make them forget the horrible 7-1 loss in the last World Cup against Germany, Brazil still have reasons to celebrate last Wednesday's victory against the Central American team. During the match there were many players who made a positive impression on the result, but arguably the best player of all was Philippe Coutinho. The Liverpool midfielder took the mantle of the best player for his team and scored a hat-trick.

After the match, Dunga wanted to congratulate him for stepping up to the challenge: "Coutinho is taking advantage of his opportunity. He has been following us. Every game and every practice his confidence is growing. We talked with him for him to be the Coutinho of Liverpool, dictate play, lead and take risks."

Dunga also spoke about the new group of players that's coming for BRazil, a new generation with new aspirations: "This is a different group of players. It's another era. We try to do our part by putting into practice what we train. The goals happened as the team had a positive performance. We had a few passes go astray due to the pitch, but we ca not use that as an excuse. We will fix this in practice."
