Last Sunday evening in the US, the fiasco called the Brazilian National team completed one of their worst performances in Copa America history. They got eliminated by Peru with a shameful hand ball goal near the end of the match, the Brazilian press immediately started to speculate on manager Dunga's future with the National Team. Many even assured that he will be sacked before the Olympic Games begin.
But Dunga isn't worried about his future with Brazil, despite being the main responsible for the worst upset in recent years, he doesn't think he will get dismissed. He told the press that: "The president of the federation knows what we do and how we work. When you work for the Brazilian team, you know very well that the criticism will intensify when results do not come. In Brazil we want everything to change in two minutes, but in football you must be patient. I do not fear dismissal, I am only afraid of death."
Dunga was also convinced that the goal should've been disallowed, but that doesn't change the impression Brazil made in the tournament, which was negative: "Everyone saw what happened. We cannot change what everyone saw. I do not understand why they were four minutes talking about the referee and the assistant then resolved nothing. Brazil was eliminated not playing football."
