Dunga unsure of disallowed goal for Ecuador

If it wasn't for that disallowed goal which was actually legal in Ecuador's favor last Saturday, Brazil would've lost their first Copa America match. But fortunately for them, the referee annulled the goal and didn't look back. But actually looking back to all the replays from different angles, it's clear that the goal should've counted as legal and Brazil should've lost the game. However, life has given Brazil a new opportunity which they have to take advantage of.

After the match, manager Dunga said that the proof is inconclusive: "I cannot say whether or not it went out, I was far away. I did not see on television and from my position it is difficult to know. The players who were closest say the ball went out."

The manager also said that they weren't lucky enough to get a goal and the three points, but he does believe they deserved them: "We tried to win from the start, but Ecuador are a very strong team, with a compact game. If we are to measure performance and analyze, Brazil were always closer to winning. We always want more, but the team performed well and were very strong in defense."
