Eto'o still thinks Guardiola is the best

Back when Pep Guardiola first arrived in Barcelona, he obviously had issues with Cameroon international Samuel Eto'o, but both of them behaved like professionals and managed to win the treble together. That quickly changed Eto'o idea of Guardiola, an idea that is still alive to this day. The veteran player has the utmost respect for the Catalan manager, he recently talked about him with Telefoot and gave his opinion on who is the best manager in the world today.

He said: "Pep has everything to be a success there [at City] and, for me, he's still the best coach in the world. He always wants his teams to play and he will impose this idea in England. His great strength is that he never changes his ideas. Technically, Pep remains the best. There's nothing else to be said."

About Mourinho, Eto'o added: "Jose has changed a lot. I discovered someone exceptional when I came to Inter. At Chelsea, it was already a bit difficult. He asked for three years to relaunch Manchester United, but you have to get your team playing, you can't defend continually. Football isn't like that anymore. Let's be clear: I've nothing against Jose. He is able to pick someone, tell him 'you are the best' and he'll have a very good game. But football is evolving."
