Everton claimed a convincing 4-0 victory over Wolves

Ashley Young scored a historic Premier League goal as Everton defeated struggling Wolves 4-0 to reclaim their winning ways. After losing to Manchester United 4-0 on Sunday, Everton fought back hard at Goodison Park against a team that was also struggling at the bottom of the table. Young scored his 50th Premier League goal with a superb free kick early on, and James Tarkowski's apparent second goal was disallowed for offside during the build-up.

Orel Mangala grabbed a loose ball at the top of the box and deflected a stinging shot to double Everton's lead. Craig Dawson twice turned into his own net when challenging Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the second half, demonstrating Everton's ongoing mastery of set pieces. With Wolves in 19th place, Everton is now in 15th place, five points above the bottom three, after Jack Harrison wasted some fantastic chances to make it 5-0 late in the game.
