Following summer exit links, Martinez is expected to stay at Aston Villa
Despite Emiliano Martinez's intention to depart during the summer, Unai Emery is expected to include him back into his Aston Villa plans during the international break. All parties are eager to move on, and any problems or stress brought on by the goalkeeper's wish to depart during the transfer window are said to have been resolved. The Argentina international, nevertheless, has been pushed to improve at Villa Park in order to regain his place in Emery's season-long plans. Martinez will turn down offers from the Saudi Pro League or Turkish Super Lig because he is ready to stay at Aston Villa. Although Martinez's exit was viewed as "inevitable" earlier this summer, Emery had no intention of letting him go. A new signing, after giving up three goals against Crystal Palace at home, Marco Bizot made a disappointing start to his Villa Park career. His partner is now expected to reclaim his spot.
