Guardiola won't change style despite stalemate

Manchester City is currently dropping some very important points, they lost two more this Saturday against Everton at Etihad Stadium. They didi it with two missed penalties which Kevin de Bruyne and Sergio Aguero weren't able to score thanks to Maarten Stekelenburg's amazing interventions, City was the clear dominant of this match but bad luck got in the way and Romelu Lukaku ceased the chance to score the first goal of the match after those misses from the spot.

Fortunately for City, Nolito managed to save them with a header just 18 minutes before the final whistle. This result won't change Pep Guardiola's philosophy in any case, he will remain true to his beliefs and accept the consequences whether they are positive or negative. The Catalan boss spoke to the press after the match, to reveal his plans to keep playing as they did today.

He said: "I won't change our style of play. I'm not frustrated as this is the only way I want my teams to play. As we evolve, we are going to run into problems, but we have improved since the matches against Tottenham and Celtic. I believe they will be the ones that'll have the ball. I've always trained attack-minded teams and this performance won't be any different. The three players they have up front are fantastic and I love the football that they play. It is not just about missing a penalty. I don't know if we will practice them, maybe we will."
