Liverpool has made the initial move in their chase for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, as reported by specialized press.
According to sources, the Swedish forward has already accepted personal contract terms with the Merseyside club, including a five-year deal that aligns with his financial expectations. Liverpool intends to kick off formal discussions with Newcastle soon, informing them of a forthcoming written offer valued at an initial £100 million (around €115 million) to assess their position.
While Newcastle values Isak at £150 million (approximately €173 million), Liverpool is targeting a compromise closer to £120 million with performance-based bonuses (about €138 million). Club representatives are set to meet within the next two days to outline the details of a possible transfer.
